Tony Partridgeontreal native, 1948. Began art instruction in drawing and oils at age twelve under the tutelage of my father who was a painter and illustrator.
I currently reside in the Crowsnest Pass and work out of the "Artists Collective Studio" in Coleman. I work in several mediums: oils, acrylic, watercolours, and a variety of drawing mediums. My work crosses many boundaries touching on high realism to the non-objective. I explore content freely using my imagination coupled with intellectual interests, often crossing into the realm of social satire/observation. I also simply pursue plein air landscape for the pleasure of it, using watercolours, from which I create in the studio,larger interpretive landscapes in Acrylic on canvas.
